Varrilete Cosmico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Edur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cayetano Matteo came out of the goal and Roberto Napier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Napier in the 88th minute of play forced Atletico Brutal Death's goalkeeper Cayetano Matteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Enekoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Socorro, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Cayetano Matteo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Blas Edur in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded F.C. Varrilete Cosmico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atletico Brutal Death.
