The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Rioja in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Porfiro saved Barrancosa FC from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Angel Ubelteso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Porfiro. Barrancosa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angel Ubelteso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The supporters of Carnerito AFC booed when Barrancosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Lucado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Barrancosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Rioja came free, but Sergio Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Baldomero Lucado made the kick off in the second half. Angel Ubelteso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barrancosa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carnerito AFC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Barrancosa FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Sergio Porfiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Rioja in the 61st minute. If Angel Ubelteso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Iraunkor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Urtungo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Iraunkor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Urtungo in the 71st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Eutor during the 79th minute. The Barrancosa FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Carnerito AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Carnerito AFC.
