Sergio Emperanza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Cugat in the 3rd minute of play. In the 9th minute Ricardo Vincente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Balesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th match minute, Ángulos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Felipillo to maneuver through the defense. When Albino Anaya came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Mataderos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Anaya couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Sandalio in the 16th minute of play forced Ángulos's goalkeeper Cayetano Balesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Albino Anaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Anaya in the 28th minute of play forced Ángulos's goalkeeper Cayetano Balesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ricardo Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th play minute Ricardo Vincente came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cayetano Balesio. 2-0. In the 44th minute, Mataderos FC's Ricardo Vincente ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cayetano Balesio. Cayetano Balesio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Cugat was the one to do the kick off. Dionisio Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Ricardo Vincente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ricardo Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Vincente, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Jeronimo Sandalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Everardo Hurko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mataderos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Hurko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cayetano Balesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Ángulos's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Vincente came free, but Cayetano Balesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ricardo Vincente came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Mataderos FC fans jumped to their feet. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hipolito Donio during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Hipolito Donio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Mataderos FC booed when Ángulos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Cugat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Sandalio struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Cayetano Balesio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mataderos FC. Ricardo Vincente might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Balesio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Vincente ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Vincente in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Balesio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Ángulos's zone, Gerardo Harriet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Balesio came out of the goal and Gerardo Harriet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Vincente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Balesio having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Mataderos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
