Spectators: 7202 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Higinio Otoniel started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Mencué FC got a freekick which was hit by Federico Indar. In the last second Adolfo Lorenz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Higinio Otoniel in the 4thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Gregorio Ubarna's late challenge caught a Carrizal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Ubarna helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mencué FC's Gregorio Ubarna got a free kick in the 4th minute. During the 11th minute of the match Gregorio Ubarna completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gregorio Ubarna a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Mencué FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gregorio Ubarna hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Mencué FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Otoniel came free, but Adolfo Lorenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Claudio Onofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Galeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosme Birila charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Birila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Carrizal FC booed when Mencué FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Birila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Otoniel in the 46th minute of play.

In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrizal FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Galeno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Cosme Birila was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. After 60 played minutes Mencué FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Birila. Claudio Onofre kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Claudio Onofre might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustaquio Galeno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Onofre ran back to his position shaking his head. If Claudio Onofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute, Carrizal FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Federico Indar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Adolfo Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Erroman in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Benicio Erroman notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mencué FC's Adolfo Lorenz. Adolfo Lorenz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adolfo Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Erroman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After a rather tough play, Mencué FC's Esteve Mikelats got a free kick in the 95th minute.
