But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Guib couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, la maquina's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Chorache came free, but Santos Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Ruperto Guib made the kick off in the second half. After 69 minutes, Reynaldo Iraunkor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the la maquina and the Bandera players grew even worse after the yellow card.
