Omar Menendo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorio Estefan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isidoro Leizarraga. That made the score 2-1 in the 24 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Aresti in the 27th minute of play forced Dinamo Ereván's goalkeeper Isidoro Leizarraga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
