The referee ignored Sora FC's protests and gave Rodrigo Gilesindo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sora FC's Rodrigo Gilesindo got a free kick in the 7th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Ricardo Tximitx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOS PANCHOPE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Tximitx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sora FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Martin Aires hit a great ball. In the 14th minute Ricardo Tximitx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Casado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Hondo in the 17th minute of play forced LOS PANCHOPE's goalkeeper Gustavo Brion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Tximitx made a kick off. Gustavo Brion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Hondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Jeronimo Libertad came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Sora FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Libertad couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Brion came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sora FC's Jeronimo Libertad. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Libertad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Libertad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Brion was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The supporters of Sora FC booed when LOS PANCHOPE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Hermon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th match minute, Sora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Gilesindo to maneuver through the defense. If Ricardo Tximitx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Tximitx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
