River Plate.'s Freddy Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Guib in the 17th minute of play. Arsenio Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Segundo Lidon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Severiano Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, River Plate.'s Jonathan Ado got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Bernardo Chorache sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddy Cordarin skillfully saved the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Dario Mero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Segundo Lidon skillfully saved the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Jonathan Ado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Segundo Lidon. Jonathan Ado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Segundo Lidon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Ado in the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Severiano Lia managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Lia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Segundo Lidon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Baldomiro Gabino came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Bandera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Gabino couldn't finish the play.
