After 26 played minutes, Dinamo Ereván's Mario Eguen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teodosio Marin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dinamo Ereván reached it. TIBURON AFC's Teodosio Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Pacorro in the 30th minute of play. Nestor Bautista kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. If Manuel Beturian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Manuel Beturian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Jordy was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Dinamo Ereván was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Luken to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute Gustavo Jordy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Leizarraga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Marin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gustavo Jordy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Leizarraga having to interfere.
