The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Orlin during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Radio Formula booed when Tapso AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Orlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Radio Formula's Remigio Maldonado got a free kick in the 9th minute. Guido Piorno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximino Oxarra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. After 23 minutes, Romeo Urre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Radio Formula and the Tapso AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Romeo Urre kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Cristian Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Garaile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Gervasio Admon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Maximino Oxarra from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Guido Piorno's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Marcial Aztore put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guido Piorno. In the 45th minute, Eduardo Perico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcial Aztore was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Mario Urko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Guido Piorno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ceferino Oidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Papo during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. During the 80th minute of the match Romeo Papo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Romeo Papo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 81st match minute, Radio Formula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Papo to maneuver through the defense. Radio Formula's Astor Garaile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Perico in the 84th minute of play. Mario Urko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Tapso AFC's Cristian Boniel got a free kick in the 88th minute. Tapso AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
