Segundo Lidon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Libertad, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Bernardo Chorache was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sora FC the free kick. A collision led to Sora FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jeronimo Libertad hit a great ball. When Ruperto Guib came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Bandera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Guib couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Sora FC's Elvio Hondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Segundo Lidon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Casado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Guib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Nazario kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeronimo Libertad in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Lidon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 minutes, Jonathan Nazario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bandera and the Sora FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sora FC booed when Bandera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Nazario didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jeronimo Libertad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Ariel Orlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Sora FC's Elvio Hondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Segundo Lidon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Bandera players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sora FC were winning 0-1.

In the 72nd minute, Jeronimo Libertad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Casado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Gabino in the 74th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Bandera's goalkeeper Segundo Lidon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Libertad. Baldomiro Gabino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Casado having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Baldomiro Gabino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandera's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Gabino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Casado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88thth minute of the game Ruperto Guib who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sora FC's Joel Casado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Casado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Guib in the 95th minute of the match. The Sora FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sora FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
