Villada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milagro the free kick. When Luis Patxi fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milagro's protests and gave Luis Patxi a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Milagro got a freekick which was hit by Luis Patxi. Orlando Obeko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Luisito Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 played minutes Villada got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Rameriz. Orlando Obeko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Pio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Villada got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Rameriz. A collision led to Villada getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Leonardo Rameriz hit a great ball. Villada's Leonardo Rameriz got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Leonardo Rameriz off the ground. After a rather tough play, Villada's Leonardo Rameriz got a free kick in the 38th minute. The attack was good, but when Ariel Cugat in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Orlando Obeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Obeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Obeko made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Milagro's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Unai came free, but Paulino Monte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagro's Ariel Cugat got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Villada's goalkeeper Luisito Pio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Cugat. Tobias Unai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisito Pio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Obeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rosendo Abechuco during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Ariel Cugat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Obeko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Luisito Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ariel Cugat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milagro's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Cugat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Pio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernabe Caradaro's late challenge caught a Milagro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernabe Caradaro helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes Villada got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Caradaro. Ariel Cugat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Milagro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Villada throughout the match.
