If Norberto Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Gomesano charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Gomesano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jaime Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Niceto Ofelio struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Cai Wei Ming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deprotivo Tronquitos. Norberto Ceandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Deprotivo Tronquitos's Ermegildo Vargas got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Ariel Ponce, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hermengildo Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Verdolaga FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Norberto Ceandro hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Rigoberto Quintyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rigoberto Quintyn scored 1-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelino Sesuldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Verdolaga FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermengildo Cortez to make the kick off. Cai Wei Ming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute Hermengildo Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cai Wei Ming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Verdolaga FC's Rigoberto Quintyn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angelino Sesuldo. Angelino Sesuldo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Angelino Sesuldo made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Norberto Ceandro sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Deprotivo Tronquitos's zone, Norberto Ceandro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Sesuldo came out of the goal and Norberto Ceandro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonides Mergildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cai Wei Ming having to interfere. When Hermengildo Cortez, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 79 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cai Wei Ming was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rigoberto Quintyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Angelino Sesuldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norberto Ceandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Sesuldo having to interfere. Ermegildo Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Norberto Ceandro took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Angelino Sesuldo to make any attempt to save it. Rigoberto Quintyn struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Angelino Sesuldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verdolaga FC. Verdolaga FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
