The supporters of Sportivo Teirm booed when Verdolaga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Roldanillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Ostargi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cai Wei Ming tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Quintyn was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Verdolaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Roldanillo. Amancio Cidro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Sportivo Teirm's goalkeeper Gonzalo Katia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Ceandro. Rigoberto Quintyn struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Gonzalo Katia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verdolaga FC. After a defensive mix-up in Verdolaga FC's zone, Benito Ostargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cai Wei Ming came out of the goal and Benito Ostargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Benito Ostargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cai Wei Ming read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Gonzalo Katia came out of the goal and Octavio Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Ceandro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Gonzalo Katia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Manuel Botello's late challenge caught a Verdolaga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Botello helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sportivo Teirm getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Manuel Botello hit a great ball. Gonzalo Katia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Verdolaga FC played a much better game than Sportivo Teirm and deserved their victory. The Sportivo Teirm players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
