At first the shot seemed to be simple for Villada's Luisito Pio to catch but Isidoro Taurino was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. When Martin Onofre, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Luisito Pio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Villada's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Taurino came free, but Luisito Pio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Deportivo El Cid booed when Villada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Gizon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo El Cid's Isidoro Taurino got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Onofre spun around in front of the goal 43 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Villada's goal. Luisito Pio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Taurino in the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Denis Oliviero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fausto Natanael. Denis Oliviero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Onofre was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Martin Onofre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo El Cid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Onofre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Taurino might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Pio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Taurino ran back to his position shaking his head. If Martin Onofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Rameriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Natanael having to interfere. A collision led to Villada getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Denis Oliviero hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Rameriz in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Natanael saved Deportivo El Cid from getting behind. In the 72nd minute Tobias Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Natanael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Villada's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Onofre came free, but Luisito Pio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Natanael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Rameriz in the 78th minute of play. If Martin Onofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Villada's goalkeeper Luisito Pio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Taurino. Martin Onofre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Pio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. If Isidoro Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Deportivo El Cid's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Gizon came free, but Fausto Natanael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Denis Oliviero made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Natanael. Deportivo El Cid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Deportivo El Cid's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Villada had won, even though Deportivo El Cid had held more of the ball.
