After a defensive mix-up in Miranda's zone, Desiderio Handi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The audience held their breath when Mauro Guerrero in the 82nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Benicio Dolcet's left hand side. With a little luck, Miranda's Benicio Dolcet got control of the ball when Edelmiro Oriche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edelmiro Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Dolcet having to interfere. Goyena's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Miranda had won, even though Goyena had held more of the ball.
