Tobias Unai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Checa having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Mauricio Tadzio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goyena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villada the free kick. In the 11th minute, Mauricio Tadzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Unai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rodolfo Checa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Jeremias Aurre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goyena and the Villada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jeremias Aurre hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Tobias Unai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes of play, Villada's Leonardo Rameriz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Checa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rigoberto Valerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Luisito Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edelmiro Oriche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Oliviero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Checa having to interfere. Villada's Tobias Unai got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lisandro Abella kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Rigoberto Valerio came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Goyena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Valerio couldn't finish the play.

Rodolfo Checa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionisio Gizon's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. When Leonardo Rameriz fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villada's protests and gave Leonardo Rameriz a yellow card for diving instead. Edelmiro Oriche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Luisito Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Villada's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Valerio came free, but Luisito Pio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Goyena booed when Villada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mauro Guerrero came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Goyena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Guerrero couldn't finish the play. Rigoberto Valerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Luisito Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rdth minute of the game Edelmiro Oriche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villada's Luisito Pio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauricio Tadzio hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Villada's zone, Rigoberto Valerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Pio came out of the goal and Rigoberto Valerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Oriche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Luisito Pio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rigoberto Valerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Pio having to interfere. Dionisio Gizon hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
