Luciano Tercero charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luciano Tercero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sinquil getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Luciano Tercero hit a great ball. When Gustavo Chayo fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sinquil's protests and gave Gustavo Chayo a yellow card for diving instead. Gustavo Chayo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ivan Iturri's shot from long distance in the 30th minute was not bad at all, but Sinquil's Federico Rios knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Amancio Santio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Marquez in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind HURACAN CHABAS's goalkeeper Amancio Santio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Federico Rios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Cordeara in the 39th minute. Marcial Cordeara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Martinez to strike the kick off in the second half. If Diego Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sinquil's Federico Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Martinez in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicasio Guillen during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. German Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. German Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Amancio Santio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Marquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amancio Santio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. German Marquez ran back to his position shaking his head. German Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Santio having to interfere. HURACAN CHABAS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sinquil for a fine match.
