Browers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Jeronimo Florin scored to the left of an out of position Niceto Raphael, making the score, 1-0. Aquiles Roderigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Denis Menendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, Salinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Rumaldo to maneuver through the defense. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Florin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Raphael. Browers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Florin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Browers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
