Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marciano Tano took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, La Azul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Florin came free, but Valentin Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Jeronimo Arnas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeronimo Florin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Severo Barros came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the La Azul FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Barros couldn't finish the play. After 13 minutes, Marciano Tano made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Salinas's Denis Menendo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Filomeno Txilar fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Azul FC's protests and gave Filomeno Txilar a yellow card for diving instead. Dalmacio Eron kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Denis Menendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Tano in the 21st minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Mauro Gaskon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute, Jeronimo Florin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Azul FC's Valentin Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Florin in the 52nd minute of play. Tobias Astudillo charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Astudillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in La Azul FC's zone, Jeronimo Florin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Lertxun came out of the goal and Jeronimo Florin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeronimo Florin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Valentin Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Florin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Lertxun having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Marciano Tano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Denis Menendo, 1-2. If Marciano Tano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Tano in the 84th minute of play forced Salinas's goalkeeper Denis Menendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Rumaldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salinas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Azul FC the free kick. Eustaquio Rumaldo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes Marciano Tano rounded Salinas's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. A collision led to La Azul FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ignacio Roland hit a great ball. Valentin Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Obeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The La Azul FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Azul FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
