The coaching staff of Ragnarok protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arnulfo Ipar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Ragnarok:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of TiroFederal:s goal. After 12 minutes Ragnarok's goalkeeper Benigno Joachim managed, with a little bit of luck, save Felix Laurin's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 12 minutes into the match, Felix Laurin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benigno Joachim, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Guerau during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ragnarok's Ivan Guerau got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Salvador Gaitan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severo Unai's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Benigno Joachim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The TiroFederal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Milián Bustillos should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Steven to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Gaitan in the 52nd minute of play forced TiroFederal's goalkeeper Milián Bustillos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Joachim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Matias Steven in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Milián Bustillos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 90 minutes, Cirilo Lon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TiroFederal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cirilo Lon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Severo Unai managed to get in a good position for a shot. TiroFederal's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Unai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Joachim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Matias Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ragnarok succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though TiroFederal had controlled the match.
