In the 31st minute, Ciro Matthew left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Criaturitas del Señor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeo Nerio was the one to do the kick off. Sunampa's Jairo Frutos got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dario Quilino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Nerio in the 53rd minute of the match. If Ciro Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes, Cristobal Urtsin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Criaturitas del Señor and the Sunampa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Criaturitas del Señor's Dario Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Nerio in the 63rd minute of play. Jairo Frutos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Matthew in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Atilano Ibar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Matthew got free with Atilano Ibar in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the match, Sunampa's goalkeeper Atilano Ibar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Matthew. Atilano Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Fernado in the 84th minute of play. Ciro Matthew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sunampa's Jairo Frutos got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
