Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. German Marquez started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Sinquil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Inautzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Mauro Gaskon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Rios was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Uriel Orlan hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sinquil booed when La Azul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Gaskon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Uriel Orlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Federico Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Tano in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, La Azul FC's Mauro Gaskon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Rios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Federico Rios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Tano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If German Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Lertxun was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and German Marquez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. German Marquez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If German Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marciano Tano to strike the kick off in the second half. Marciano Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Sinquil's Luciano Tercero got a free kick in the 58th minute. Mauro Gaskon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Federico Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Rios made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Mauro Gaskon sent off a good shot on target. When German Marquez fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sinquil's protests and gave German Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Marquez in the 84th minute of play. German Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Valentin Lertxun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cipriano Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to La Azul FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Primitivo Burni hit a great ball. La Azul FC's Mauro Gaskon got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
