The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonel Ler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Ler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Fernando Formerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Kerygma F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Vigil. After some careless play in the Kerygma F.C. defense, Remigio Checa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Formerio. The Kerygma F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Formerio should have stopped the shot. Remigio Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Formerio having to interfere. If Remigio Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Formerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Checa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Neron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Erasto in the 23rd minute of the match. Ovidio Emesto's late challenge caught a Günther Uorkam Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidio Emesto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Ovidio Emesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Ler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fernando Formerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Günther Uorkam Club got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Gorka. In the 32nd minute, Gervasio Derwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Arnulfo Jayvier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kerygma F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 47th minute, Arnulfo Jayvier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Araoz in the 54th minute of play forced Günther Uorkam Club's goalkeeper Oscar Neron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Kerygma F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Ler came free, but Fernando Formerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Ovidio Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Neron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Günther Uorkam Club's goalkeeper Oscar Neron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kerygma F.C.'s Fernando Formerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Ler in the 73rd minute of play. Remigio Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigio Checa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Fernando Formerio made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Checa got free with Fernando Formerio in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oscar Neron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Jayvier in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Günther Uorkam Club's Gervasio Derwin got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Flavio Araoz got free in front of the goal in the 95th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Oscar Neron was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Günther Uorkam Club were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
