Arnulfo Jayvier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Oscar Neron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnulfo Jayvier hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kerygma F.C.'s Ovidio Emesto got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Günther Uorkam Club's Leonel Ler got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kerygma F.C.'s goalkeeper Fernando Formerio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Kerygma F.C.'s Fernando Formerio got control of the ball when Alfonso Gorka tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kerygma F.C.'s Narciso Cucao got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Fernando Formerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Ler, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Oscar Neron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Jayvier in the 35th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Alfonso Gorka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Günther Uorkam Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Gorka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Formerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonel Ler struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fernando Formerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Günther Uorkam Club. Fernando Formerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Leonel Ler made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Formerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Ler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Neron didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Fernando Formerio came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Günther Uorkam Club's Leonel Ler. But to his dismay, Leonel Ler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Remigio Checa might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando Formerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remigio Checa ran back to his position shaking his head. If Leonel Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Neron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Araoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Jayvier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Oscar Neron made a huge save. Teodoro Erasto kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Remigio Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arnulfo Jayvier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Günther Uorkam Club's Oscar Neron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Günther Uorkam Club from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute, Leonel Ler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kerygma F.C.'s zone, Remigio Checa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Formerio came out of the goal and Remigio Checa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Araoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Günther Uorkam Club's Jairo Mancio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jairo Mancio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Günther Uorkam Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jairo Mancio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Günther Uorkam Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kerygma F.C.:s goal. Oscar Neron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Araoz in the 97th minute of play.
