Spectators: 7202 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Deportivo Querandies's Sergio Koldobika started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Deportivo Querandies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Montes to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Jayvier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Urbano Olivar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Deportivo Querandies's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Araoz came free, but Urbano Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Fernando Formerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Teodoro Erasto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Querandies's Antonio Gorbea couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kerygma F.C.. 26 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Jayvier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kerygma F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Querandies the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Tolino in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Formerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Querandies's zone, Flavio Araoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Olivar came out of the goal and Flavio Araoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 played minutes Kerygma F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Erasto. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Sergio Koldobika managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Querandies's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Koldobika was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Formerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urbano Olivar made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Arnulfo Jayvier sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Araoz to make the kick off. Deportivo Querandies's Urbano Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Jayvier in the 53rd minute of play. Arnulfo Jayvier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbano Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Jayvier in the 72nd minute of play. Teodoro Erasto was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 76 played minutes Kerygma F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Erasto. In the 77th minute, Fausto Tolino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th match minute, Deportivo Querandies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Celino to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Fausto Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Querandies's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Tolino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
