Pablo Quinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Constancio in the 6th minute of play. Robustiano Jaen kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Acuña getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Carlos Admon hit a great ball. Cleto Constancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pablo Quinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robustiano Jaen charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robustiano Jaen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AS El Bajo booed when Acuña was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Jaen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Cleto Constancio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pablo Quinton. The goal made the score 1-0. Javier Mikelar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Berenguer in the 40th minute of play. Javier Mikelar came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Acuña's Arsenio Berenguer. But to his dismay, Arsenio Berenguer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Acuña's Arsenio Berenguer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Mikelar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsenio Berenguer was the one to do the kick off. Pablo Quinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Constancio, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Amancio Faron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Admon hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Cleto Constancio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abelardo Manuelo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Cleto Constancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. In the 88th minute, Arsenio Berenguer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Javier Mikelar. The goal made the score 1-2. Amancio Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amancio Faron in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Quinton saved Acuña from getting behind. The Acuña players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
