Amancio Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Suero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Javier Mikelar. AS El Bajo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arnulfo Jayvier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Javier Mikelar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Flavio Araoz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Javier Mikelar. Javier Mikelar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo Jayvier's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Fernando Formerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Faron, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Kerygma F.C.'s Arnulfo Jayvier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Mikelar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Kerygma F.C.'s Fernando Formerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Faron in the 37th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Araoz to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, AS El Bajo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Bartoli to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Araoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Araoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Mikelar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Araoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Narciso Cucao's late challenge caught a AS El Bajo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Cucao helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, Kerygma F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Cucao to maneuver through the defense. If Amancio Faron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ovidio Emesto fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kerygma F.C.'s protests and gave Ovidio Emesto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of AS El Bajo booed when Kerygma F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Emesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Mariano Salomone sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kerygma F.C.'s Fernando Formerio didn't even have to move. In the 87th minute Marcelino Montrelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Formerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Mikelar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Jayvier in the 89th minute. Javier Mikelar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Araoz in the 90th minute of the match. AS El Bajo's Amancio Faron got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kerygma F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
