A collision led to Kerygma F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Teodoro Erasto hit a great ball. Fernando Formerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Cruz in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Cruz in the 30th minute of play forced Kerygma F.C.'s goalkeeper Fernando Formerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Araoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Jayvier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Pablo Quinton made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Flavio Araoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Jayvier got free with Pablo Quinton in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Quinton having to interfere. Arnulfo Jayvier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Pablo Quinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Formerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Berenguer in the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Berenguer to make the kick off. If Herminio Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes, Ovidio Emesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kerygma F.C. and the Acuña players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kerygma F.C. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ovidio Emesto hit a great ball. Fernando Formerio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nemesio Edur. Fernando Formerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arsenio Berenguer's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Pablo Quinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Jayvier in the 67th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Arsenio Berenguer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Flavio Araoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kerygma F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Araoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Quinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Araoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Flavio Araoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
