Pablo Quinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With a little luck, Havana FC's Serafino Arnau got control of the ball when Carlos Admon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Angelino Aznar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pablo Quinton was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. A collision led to Acuña getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Herminio Cruz hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agatas Rimkus in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Quinton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pablo Quinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agatas Rimkus in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Havana FC booed when Acuña was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Jaen didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Berenguer to make the kick off. If Angelino Aznar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes of play, Acuña's Carlos Admon made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafino Arnau was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Acuña were victorious despite being under pressure from Havana FC for much of the match.
