Ariel Rivero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jesus Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Aires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Jesus Telmo made a huge save. Tortugas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Medardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tortugas FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Desiderio Aires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jesus Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Brinkman's Ariel Rivero got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jesus Telmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Aires, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Desiderio Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Telmo having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Brinkman's goalkeeper Borys Zajonc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Froilan Medardo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Aires in the 82nd minute of play forced Tortugas FC's goalkeeper Jesus Telmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brinkman's Ariel Rivero got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desiderio Aires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Brinkman booed when Tortugas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Innocenzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Telmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Rivero in the 89th minute of the match. In the 94thth minute of the game Ariel Rivero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tortugas FC's Jesus Telmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brinkman's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
