Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Filomeno Ourente got the match started through his kick off. In the 7thth minute of the game Filomeno Ourente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metán FC's Damaso Figueroa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Metán FC defense, Filomeno Ourente kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damaso Figueroa. The Metán FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damaso Figueroa should have stopped the shot. Damaso Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Berto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Metán FC's Damaso Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Ourente in the 17th minute of play. Damaso Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Ourente, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Damaso Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Berto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Sabino hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Metán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Ourente came free, but Damaso Figueroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Ourente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Figueroa having to interfere. Jacinto Sotero kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Candido Donzel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Maureo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After having played for 37 minutes, Eugenio Delfino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metán FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Delfino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Delfino in the 39th minute of the match. Ambrosio Cucao hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Virgilio Berto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Damaso Figueroa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

57 minutes into the match, Metán FC's goalkeeper Damaso Figueroa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Berto. Damaso Figueroa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgilio Berto in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute, Virgilio Berto made a precise shot to the right of Damaso Figueroa. Metán FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Virgilio Berto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Damaso Figueroa made a huge save. Metán FC's Eugenio Delfino quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dario Ciceron, made in the 74th minute of the game. In the 78th minute Filomeno Ourente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Figueroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Delfino, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the game, Metán FC's Ambrosio Cucao nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Maureo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Candido Donzel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Maureo having to make a save.
