Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luis Salvidor started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Alvaro Sarracino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Clementi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tortugas FC's German Sindo got a free kick in the 7th minute. With his leg Jesus Telmo managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Silverstein's Luis Salvidor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Maximo Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Telmo having to interfere. Luis Salvidor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Jesus Telmo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Andres Guillem came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Silverstein fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Guillem couldn't finish the play. Placido Clementi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Tortugas FC's Alvaro Sarracino got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orlando Oxel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Alvaro Sarracino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Placido Clementi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Andres Guillem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luis Salvidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jesus Telmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Tortugas FC's Jesus Telmo got control of the ball when Luis Salvidor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silverstein's Placido Clementi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Sarracino in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Iyan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Clementi. Silverstein's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Iyan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Donato Gorri kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Luis Salvidor, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 38 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jesus Telmo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Luis Salvidor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Placido Clementi came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tortugas FC's Alvaro Sarracino. But to his dismay, Alvaro Sarracino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Froilan Medardo scored 0-4 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Placido Clementi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Tortugas FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alvaro Sarracino made the kick off in the second half. Andres Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Telmo having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Iyan notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Silverstein's Placido Clementi. Placido Clementi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Medardo got free with Placido Clementi in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Placido Clementi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Sarracino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 minutes Silverstein's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abelardo Osoro who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Eriberto Dino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 75th minute, Alvaro Sarracino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Placido Clementi. The goal made the score 0-6. Jesus Telmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Guillem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes Tortugas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alonzo Llorenc who took care of the corner kick. Silverstein's Alonzo Llorenc was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jesus Telmo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Silverstein's Luis Salvidor in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tortugas FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Salvidor in the 85th minute of play forced Tortugas FC's goalkeeper Jesus Telmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Ramirez struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jesus Telmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silverstein. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Iyan in the 88th minute of play forced Silverstein's goalkeeper Placido Clementi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Silverstein's Luis Salvidor in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tortugas FC's goalie prevented a goal.
