Metán FC's Damaso Figueroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Evangelista in the 21st minute of play. Constantino Evangelista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damaso Figueroa having to make a save. Damaso Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Eli in the 28th minute of the match. Candido Donzel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Tobias Bartuelo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 40 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Flores was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ProvidenciaClub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metán FC the free kick. In the 40th minute, Baldomiro Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Ambrosio Cucao made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Metán FC's zone, Constantino Evangelista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damaso Figueroa came out of the goal and Constantino Evangelista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When ProvidenciaClub's Saverio Eli in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. ProvidenciaClub's Ruben Gombal suffered a sore thigh after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Eugenio Delfino's late challenge caught a ProvidenciaClub's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Delfino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Eugenio Delfino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Metán FC booed when ProvidenciaClub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Candido Donzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Metán FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 86 minutes into the match, ProvidenciaClub's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Diegotxe came free, but Tobias Bartuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Ambrosio Cucao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Constantino Evangelista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Metán FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Cucao to maneuver through the defense. If Constantino Evangelista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Metán FC had played much better football throughout.
