After a defensive mix-up in OliCar's zone, Anacleto Leguizamón stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Atarratze came out of the goal and Anacleto Leguizamón tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Leon Oriche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anacleto Leguizamón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hugo Atarratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Atarratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Leguizamón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anacleto Leguizamón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Atarratze having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Leon Oriche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Camp River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Oriche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Atarratze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herminio Bittor kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Hugo Atarratze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Frances, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 51st minute Albano Hurko suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 51 minutes, Leon Oriche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Camp River Plate and the OliCar players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of OliCar booed when Club Camp River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Oriche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Camp River Plate's Anacleto Leguizamón got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Atarratze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The OliCar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Atarratze should have stopped the shot. After 68 played minutes OliCar got a freekick which was hit by Albano Cebrian. Anacleto Leguizamón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leon Oriche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Leguizamón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Albano Cebrian made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cristobal Montae. After a rather tough play, Club Camp River Plate's Serafino Aballe got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Serafino Aballe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tobias Goito was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Albano Cebrian. Martin Calvet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Atarratze having to interfere. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind OliCar's goalkeeper Hugo Atarratze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. OliCar succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Club Camp River Plate had controlled the match.
