In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capdeville's goalkeeper Ricardo Pelayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artemio Corderro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bartolo Hanot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Capdeville's Rafael Ceandro got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erasmo Pirro was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Rafael Ceandro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Ceandro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ricardo Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Paublo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Pasqual hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Rafael Ceandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Pirro having to interfere. Cachí's Gonzalo Paublo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Ceandro was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cachí's Melchor Eli got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Rafael Ceandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Pirro having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Capdeville's zone, Melchor Eli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Pelayo came out of the goal and Melchor Eli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Capdeville's goalkeeper Ricardo Pelayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Paublo. Capdeville's Ricardo Pelayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Capdeville from getting a goal against them. Melchor Eli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Capdeville's Ricardo Pelayo got control of the ball when Gonzalo Paublo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Pelayo was a little too slow when Artemio Corderro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-1. Artemio Corderro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ricardo Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimeno Petrigai's late challenge caught a Capdeville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Petrigai helped the player get up and apologised. Jimeno Petrigai kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Cachí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Capdeville the free kick. In the 80th minute, Gonzalo Paublo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Bartolo Hanot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Pirro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rafael Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Hanot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
