Segundo Xabat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee showed Gaudencio Quintana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Feliberto Goito made a precise shot to the right of Saul Lorenz. Ranchillos AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Segundo Xabat put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Martin Caitano. After 46 played minutes Ranchillos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Pirmin. 48 minutes into the match, Gerardo Leoiar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Saul Lorenz, 2-1.

Segundo Xabat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Martin Caitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute of the match, Andres Frederico tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Martin Caitano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Caitano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Honorio Txindoki kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute of the match Javier Gorbea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saul Lorenz skillfully saved the ball. When Benedicto Dolcet fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranchillos AFC's protests and gave Benedicto Dolcet a yellow card for diving instead. Benedicto Dolcet kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Segundo Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ranchillos AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
