Ismael Tonio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Salamon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Benjamin Mero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campanas's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Mero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Tonio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Benjamin Mero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campanas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Joseph in the 17th minute of play forced Campanas's goalkeeper Americo Errapel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Mero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arsenio Avellaneda charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Avellaneda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arsenio Avellaneda hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of San Uriel c.f. booed when Campanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Salomone didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Feliberto Dorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Campanas getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jonas Quexal hit a great ball. Americo Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Feliberto Dorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Americo Errapel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Feliberto Dorio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Benjamin Mero came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Campanas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Mero couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Feliberto Dorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Americo Errapel was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 59thth minute of the game Feliberto Dorio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campanas's Americo Errapel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliberto Dorio in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Americo Errapel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Americo Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Dorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Rico during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Campanas got a freekick which was hit by Armando Rico. In the 80thth minute of the game Feliberto Dorio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Campanas's Americo Errapel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Americo Errapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Joseph in the 85th minute of play.
