Spectators: 6677 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 0) Guernica AFC's Feliberto Goito started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Cachí got a freekick which was hit by Adan Veto. Alejo Ixaka kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Guernica AFC's goalkeeper Martin Caitano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Paublo. When Gonzalo Paublo came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Cachí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Paublo couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Americo Lugo during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Guernica AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Americo Lugo hit a great ball. With a little luck, Guernica AFC's Martin Caitano got control of the ball when Gonzalo Paublo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erasmo Pirro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Goito in the 20th minute of the match. Erasmo Pirro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Goito, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Feliberto Goito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Erasmo Pirro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Pirro came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Guernica AFC's Feliberto Goito. But to his dismay, Feliberto Goito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 37 minutes into the match, Guernica AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Paublo came free, but Martin Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Goito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Gorbea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erasmo Pirro. Cachí's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artemio Corderro to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Cachí's goalkeeper Erasmo Pirro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Leoiar. 61 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Paublo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Martin Caitano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute Feliberto Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Pirro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cachí's Erasmo Pirro got control of the ball when Gerardo Leoiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cachí's zone, Feliberto Goito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Pirro came out of the goal and Feliberto Goito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gonzalo Paublo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Cachí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Paublo couldn't finish the play. Gonzalo Paublo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Caitano having to interfere. Artemio Corderro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Caitano having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guernica AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cachí.
