Manuel Mazuste was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Gonzalo Paublo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gonzalo Paublo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pintos's zone, Gonzalo Paublo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Mazuste came out of the goal and Gonzalo Paublo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Artemio Corderro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manuel Mazuste. The goal made the score 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Fermin Gonsalvo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Paublo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Manuel Mazuste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachí. 61 minutes into the match, Artemio Corderro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Mazuste. Pintos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artemio Corderro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
