After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Feliciano Bernaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Osamenta Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Bernaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Naelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gimnasio Gym JM's Danilo Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Stanislao in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Stanislao cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Danilo Naelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Feliciano Bernaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Naelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Stanislao in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute Arnoldo Stanislao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Naelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Gimnasio Gym JM's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Stanislao came free, but Danilo Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osamenta Fútbol Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Godofredo Ladio in the 43rd minute. After taking down the ball on Osamenta Fútbol Club's corner Godofredo Ladio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Danilo Naelio quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Osamenta Fútbol Club booed when Gimnasio Gym JM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Oroitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 49 played minutes, Osamenta Fútbol Club's Godofredo Ladio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Danilo Naelio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Osamenta Fútbol Club reached it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Stanislao made a kick off. Gregorio Miro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Nardo in the 93rd minute of the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Arnoldo Stanislao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osamenta Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Stanislao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Osamenta Fútbol Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Osamenta Fútbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
