In the 13th minute Higinio Bonifaco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Naelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Fonda in the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Delicia FC's Leandro Ponc got a free kick in the 19th minute. Danilo Naelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Bonifaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gimnasio Gym JM's Danilo Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Fonda in the 22nd minute of play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 24th minute, but Leonel Bernard got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Delicia FC hanging dry this time. When Paulo Berbiz came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Gimnasio Gym JM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Berbiz couldn't finish the play. If Paulo Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Higinio Bonifaco made a kick off. The supporters of Gimnasio Gym JM booed when Delicia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Ponc didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Paulo Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Alvaro Nardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Delicia FC's Filiberto Fonda in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Delicia FC's protests and gave Clodoveo Martxel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Clodoveo Martxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
