The Madryn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ambrosio Dolfos should have stopped the shot. Fede School's Anacleto Jeraldo got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silverio Gaskon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Alfonso's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Ambrosio Dolfos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Florentino Misael notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Madryn's Ambrosio Dolfos. Ambrosio Dolfos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Fede School were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florentino Misael to make the kick off. Rolando Orlan charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolando Orlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Alfonso in the 83rd minute of play forced Fede School's goalkeeper Silverio Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Jeraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Dolfos having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Hipolito Kaiet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nemesio Cristofor fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fede School's protests and gave Nemesio Cristofor a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fede School getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Nemesio Cristofor hit a great ball. The Fede School players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
