Herminio Iratxo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustacio Frederik's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Teo Maidana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narciso Eudoxio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Teo Maidana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Raitin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Eustacio Frederik got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Seguí booed when Tapebicuá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Seguinus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
