In the 7th minute Hugo Salomone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Sendoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herminio Iratxo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Obano's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Virgilio Chepe struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Herminio Iratxo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formosa. Seguí's Herminio Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Obano in the 11th minute of play. If Virgilio Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Chepe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Herminio Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Virgilio Chepe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seguí's Herminio Iratxo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Teo Maidana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Obano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Iratxo having to interfere. When Formosa's Virgilio Chepe in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seguí's goalie prevented a goal. The Seguí players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Formosa were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Salomone made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ambrosio Adrio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Adrio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Iratxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Virgilio Chepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Obano in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Seguí's zone, Virgilio Chepe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Iratxo came out of the goal and Virgilio Chepe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Arnoldo Raitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herminio Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Adrio in the 65th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Chepe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Iratxo was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Erasmo Obano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Herminio Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Seguí's Diego Orixe got a free kick in the 81st minute. Virgilio Chepe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seguí's Herminio Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Obano in the 84th minute of play. Seguí's Herminio Iratxo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Seguí from getting a goal against them. Arnoldo Raitin's late challenge caught a Formosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnoldo Raitin helped the player get up and apologised. Arnoldo Raitin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Erasmo Obano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Iratxo having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Formosa's Erasmo Obano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herminio Iratxo. Herminio Iratxo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. When the match was over Formosa could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Seguí throughout the match.
