Ambrosio Dolfos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Asteri, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Saul Mannie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Kaiet in the 24th minute of play. Diego Asteri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ambrosio Dolfos having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Julian Alfonso put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Saul Mannie. If Julian Alfonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Acoite:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Madryn:s goal. The Acoite players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Madryn were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Alfonso was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Mirande during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jesus Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Dolfos having to interfere. Diego Asteri succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
