But to his dismay, Elias Pirro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 14 minutes into the game, Generoso Sugar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nario fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapebicuá the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nario fc's Generoso Sugar got a free kick in the 14th minute. Justino Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Eudoxio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Igon in the 20th minute of play forced Nario fc's goalkeeper Elvio Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Justin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Igon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tapebicuá's Narciso Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Cesario in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Tapebicuá got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Eladio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Perutxo got free with Elvio Justin in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Cesario scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Eudoxio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 55th minute Cesar Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justino Mannie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nario fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Cesario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elias Pirro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Generoso Sugar made a precise shot to the right of Narciso Eudoxio. Tapebicuá's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Narciso Eudoxio came out of the goal and Diego Cesario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Tapebicuá booed when Nario fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Mannie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Justin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Perutxo in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Tapebicuá getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alberto Seguinus hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Diego Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Eudoxio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
