The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Salvador Quinito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Asteri in the 13th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Deportivo Roca got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Ignatius. Saul Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Iraitz in the 20th minute of the match. When Diego Asteri came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Acoite fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Asteri couldn't finish the play. Salvador Quinito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Asteri, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Victorio Abella hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Eugenio Barbosa in the 35th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Saul Mannie's left hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Elpidio Regis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acoite's supporters rose to their feet, but Elpidio Regis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Quinito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salvador Quinito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Asteri in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Iraitz to make the kick off. Deportivo Roca's Salvador Quinito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Blasco in the 53rd minute of play. Alfredo Urko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Salvador Quinito. Deportivo Roca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Diego Asteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Quinito having to interfere. After 63 minutes of play, Deportivo Roca's Bernardino Vimaro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saul Mannie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jesus Blasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Salvador Quinito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Quinito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Asteri's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Jesus Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Quinito having to interfere. Diego Asteri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salvador Quinito having to make a save. If Jesus Blasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Quinito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Asteri in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute Diego Asteri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Quinito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Blasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Daniel Iraitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saul Mannie was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Diego Asteri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acoite's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Asteri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Quinito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Acoite's Diego Asteri pulled a muscle in his back after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ildefonso Lano during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Acoite. Victorio Abella stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Salvador Quinito. 1-1. Acoite were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Deportivo Roca to leave the ground with a draw.
