After a defensive mix-up in Huase FC's zone, Melchor Honrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucho Gay came out of the goal and Melchor Honrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Huase FC's goalkeeper Lucho Gay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melchor Honrio. Lucho Gay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Izotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Cristobal Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Cristobal Izotz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucho Gay was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Lucho Gay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SinHueso. After a rather tough play, Huase FC's Andres Cordero got a free kick in the 89th minute. A throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game was made by Luisito Corderall with Daniel Lohitzun as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Honrio in the 95th minute of play forced Huase FC's goalkeeper Lucho Gay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
