Ceferino Gasteiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Louis having to interfere. Ernesto Louis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Gasteiz in the 10th minute of the match. Rogelio Venceslao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Su read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Fidel Su made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Pepillo in the 14th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Pepillo came free, but Fidel Su reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belgrano FC's Ernesto Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Gasteiz in the 28th minute of play. Ceferino Gasteiz struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ernesto Louis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ben Hur. Ceferino Gasteiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Pepillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Su having to make a save. Luciano Peli might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Su. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Peli ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ceferino Gasteiz was the one to do the kick off. Cosme Lluc charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cosme Lluc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ben Hur booed when Belgrano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Lluc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Louis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Santo Gorri. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Perrando got free with Ernesto Louis in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernesto Louis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Gasteiz in the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Belgrano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Pepillo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Gasteiz in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Louis saved Belgrano FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Venceslao in the 88th minute of play forced Ben Hur's goalkeeper Fidel Su to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fidel Su tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belgrano FC's Ernesto Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Gasteiz in the 96th minute of play. Belgrano FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ben Hur for a fine match.
